Oskar Fischinger (1900-1967), Kreise (1933-34), #434, original animation drawing, tempera on paper, 11.5 x 12 inches. Drawn in Berlin and used in the film Kreise. Numbered at top, punched for animation, unsigned. This is one of the first films made using the new Gaspar Color film process, which Fischinger helped invent. This abstract film was used as an ad by the Tolirag advertising company for various products. It's also one of Fischinger's last films made in Germany before he emigrated to Los Angeles. Excerpt from the film. The title translates to "Circles."
Some minor wear at bottom, beginning of a tiny tear on edge (will matte out). Paint is in very good condition considering its age.
Plus shipping cost, and CA sales tax if required. Full shipping cost is not included in the Squarespace checkout system.
